Backpacks for Children in Mexico

September 19, 2024 //  by recsdg//  Leave a Comment

In collaboration with the Binational Committee United for Children in Mexico, Destiny Hands, and the Rotary Club of Coronado Binational, our club successfully delivered over 200 backpacks to schoolchildren in need in Tijuana.

Ben Kettor and Maria Haase personally delivered a portion of the backpacks and took part in a distribution event, bringing joy and much-needed supplies to the children. They met with fellow Rotarians, teachers, and the US Consul General of Tijuana, Christopher Teal, to celebrate the bi-national efforts in this project.
